(evangelize) in 18 Versions
in the English New Testament - I have been researching and pondering the translation of the Greek word
(found 54 times in the New Testament) as evangelize for over 10 years. Several weeks ago, I came across three old French translations online. One of these was the one used by John Calvin (the Olivétan version). In it, I found the word translated as "evangelize" 24 of the 54 times! Please consider the history of the translation of this important word.|
